Rick Bolger tests out a modified choke, the "middle ground" constriction we use for just about anything. We pattern mod at 30 yards with buckshot, and yes, you can definitely bring down a deer with a modified choke. Then we pattern bird shot through a mod choke at 30 yards, proving the value of this choke for a variety of targets. Rick misses a few shots along the way, but the weather was quite unpredictable.
