Colour Chemistry Episode 6 - Dye versus Mineral Pigments and Making A Basic Acrylic Paint

In this episode of Colour Chemistry, I explain how mineral and dye pigments ultimate differ in general terms, noting common exceptions, and proceed to make a basic acrylic paint by mixing an impasto gel medium with both a mineral and a dye - I used iron (III) oxide (ferric oxide) as the mineral and rhodamine as the dye.
