Since 1923, the Spengler Cup has been a regular fixture in the international hockey calendar every season. With the invitational tournament holding such a well-respected position in the sport and with the trophy being handed out nearly every single year for the last century, there was bound to be several NHL alumni suit up at the competition over the year, whether they found themselves in Davos, Switzerland after spending much of their pro careers in the best league in the world, or they left North America having become a legend of the game.
