How To Play Wishing Well on 3 String Cigar Box Guitar

This is my 3 string CBG version of the classic Wishing Well by Free, which got to number 7 in the UK singles chart in January 1973. As always, playing the song on a 3 string cigar box guitar means some things can’t be played completely accurately. This time it is the lack of a low E on the riff. However, I have compromised by playing an E ‘power chord’ which sounds pretty close and avoids tuning the guitar down or playing the riff an octave higher.
