I bought this car door ding protector from Aliexpress.

Much cheaper than other alternatives sold here in Australia. Seems well made, and even comes with a handy drawstring bag to store it when not in use. I live in an apartment, and my fat inconsiderate neighbour keeps whacking my car when he opens his door so I only bought one, for the left side of my car. Sticks well with magnets and also comes with a rope that goes into the car that has a rubber suction cup to attach to the window.
