X Factor: Nicole Scherzinger defends James Arthur but Union J 'disappoint' Louis Walsh

Ahead of the X Factor final 2013, Nicole Scherzinger has defended last year's winner James Arthur meanwhile Louis Walsh says he's "disappointed" with how Union J have done since finishing the show. James Arthur has caused a lot of controversy in recent months, including issuing an apology after writing song lyrics which contained homophobic language. Louis Walsh has admitted he thought Union J, the boyband he mentored last year, would have "been a little bit bigger". He said: "I think give them a bit more time to grow." Report by Anna Collinson.
