Shab e Ashura is the night of the 10th of Muharram, the day of Ashura, which is a day of great significance and sorrow for the Muslims, especially the Shia Muslims. On this night, many Muslims perform special prayers and acts of worship to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and his companions in the battle of Karbala.

In this video, you will see how we prepared for Shab e Ashura by making our own Alam, which is a symbolic flag or standard that represents Imam Hussain (AS) and his cause. We also made a Tazia, which is a replica of the shrine or tomb of Imam Hussain (AS) and his family. We decorated them with flowers, lights, and other ornaments. We also made a Sharbat, which is a sweet drink that is distributed among the mourners and visitors as a gesture of hospitality and charity. We will show you how we made these things with our own hands and with love and devotion.
