Elasticsearch stands out as the globe's leading open-source search engine, while Kubernetes (k8s) serves as a popular container orchestration engine which gives developers the flexibility to run all sorts of workloads easily. Elastic launched the Elasticsearch k8s operator sometime ago, enabling users not only to run Elasticsearch on k8s but also to launch other Elastic Stack projects (like APM Server), facilitate running rolling upgrades and managing data, etc. The session focuses on Elasticsearch & Kubernetes and showcases the latest features of the Elasticsearch k8s operator.
