ProStitcher Lite - Using DRAG & DROP

This is the 6th video in my Longarm Series that will be running indefinitely on the channel. Today I demonstrate how to use the DRAG and DROP feature to advance a quilt and stitch out the rows. Here’s a checklist you can follow step by step:

Drag & Drop
1. Clip thread at end of first row
2. Move machine needle to approximate center and determine lowest point of design (keep this point consistent throughout all rows)
3. Lower needle manually at that point
4. Hit DRAG
5. Release clamps and front ratchets
6. Go to back of machine to roll up next row making sure it fits completely in the red Frame Space box
7. Replace ratchets and clamps
8. Smooth quilt batting and top if necessary.
9. Hit DROP
10. Raise needle UP
11. BASTE both sides with long stitches
12. Adjust stitch length back!
13. Find GREEN start point of new row and move machine close to it
14. Hit RESUME to pull up thread (a box will appear, pull up thread then exit box)
15. Hit RUN to initiate the tiny tie-off stitches and new row
16. REPEAT steps 1-15 until all rows are completed
**NOTE** occasionally the design chosen is very short whereby 2 rows or more of stitching will fit in the Frame Space box. In this case, you only need to tie off at end of row, go to beginning of next row and hit RESUME. Very easy!
