Intruder arrives and stays hours ~ while Gabby protected NE32! 11 25 2025

AEF NEFL~ Intruder arrives around 1 pm today as Gabby was on nest protecting her egg. Intruder looked to be about 3 or so years old and most likely was looking for a nice place to rest for the day. Gabby was not happy but was just keeping calm. At one point the intruder decided to get a close view of Gabby and went to to the nest. The intruder was not there long and Gabby gave it a wing slap, it got the message and retreated back to Wallenda. Beau arrived about 4:42pm but intruder was very bold and didn't leave right away. But after realizing he/she was out numbered decided to leave finally around 4:43pm (almost 4 hours). Gabby is an incredible mother eagle staying calm and protecting NE32. Hopefully the intruder will realize now is not the time for visiting the Hamlet!! https://nefleaglecam.org/
