First Time Beating Feliks Zemdegs in a Final! (Palais'Open, 6.10 PR3 Average)

Palais'Open 2024 (September 21-22), 3x3 finals

It felt and still feels unreal. Like for most of us, Feliks has been my biggest inspiration in cubing since I started in 2014. I'm honored to have won against him in front of a familiar crowd.

That being said, my solves weren't the best, probably because I was having a rough day (I just resumed university so I was tired and stressed). Not being directly up against Feliks (Mathis Luc was - we had the same avg in semis but he got a 4.83 PR single/best solve of the comp!) + a set of very friendly scrambles and LL cases definitely helped
