The song Øll mín verð is a light and nostalgic song that contains something we can all recognize ourselves in. Coming to the end of a certain period, where close bonds have been formed and many shared memories have been created, often turns into an emotional moment. And it is exactly these thoughts, experiences, and feelings that the song Øll mín verð is about. The song is a celebration of moments, memories, and everything else that remains after finishing school, not looked back upon with sorrow, but with joy. And that these moments and memories are precisely what shape us into the people we are.
The band NULL9 consists of students from the 9th grade in Fuglafjaðarskúli. They were all born in 2009, wich gives the name NULL9. The students have all choosen music at the school in Fuglafjørður, where they’ve performed several cover songs at the school, as well as their own music, both around the Faroe Islands and in Aalborg, prior to this release.
The lead singers in the band are Christian Beder from Fuglafjørður and Lenny Gaardbo from Leirvík. Jákup Simonsen is on drums, Jónas Hansen and Akiko Antonio on electric guitar, Sara Bjørt á Lakjuni on acoustic guitar, Dánial Petur Abrahamsen on bass, Tóki Hentze on piano, Victoria Lawal on strings, and Josva Mikkelsen on pads.
