Watercolour Sharpie Design on a Blooming Gel Rose - Step By Step Nail Art With Meg Feather

Hey guys, in this video I'll be showing you how to create a Watercolour Blooming Gel Rose with a Sharpie. OMG! How cool is that?

The wonderful Megan Feather is joining us in the studio today. Follow her amazing Instagram to see all the work she does with makeup.

So, I've already prepared this ballerina nail and we are going to start with a coat of Serious Black then we are going cure the nail followed by a layer of top coat. Then I will add Snow White to create a cool blooming gel design. To complement the design I'll use a touch of Cleopatra.

Once you're happy with how it's blooming then cure it for a minute. After that add your top coat over the design and then cure it again. You're gonna need a dappen dish, some gel residue wipe off solution and we're also gonna get some sharpies to start creating this design. Now we will colour the nail with the sharpies.

Next, take your detailing brush and dip it into the gel residue wipe off solution and then press into the design to help it bloom. Top coat the design again and then we will finish with a bit of cuticle oil.
