Nickelback is a rock band from Canada that started in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The group includes lead singer and guitarist Chad Kroeger, guitarist and keyboard player Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. Over the years, they had a few different drummers before Adair joined in 2005. They signed with Roadrunner Records in 1999 and became really popular in 2002 with their song "How You Remind Me," which topped the charts in the United States and Canada. Their album "Silver Side Up" became 8× Platinum in Canada. Their fourth album, "The Long Road," came out in 2003 and had five hit singles, with "Someday" reaching number one in Canada and number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.
