Following my 20-day gouache experiment, I am continuing to figure out how gouache fits into my overall art practice. A big part of that is getting better at understanding color mixing in gouache. To that end, I have two primary mixing sets, Holbein Artists Gouache and Daniel Smith Gouache. In this video, I create basic color wheels with each set to compare the variety that is possible with each when mixing complements, adding white, and mixing darks.
