Char 2C FCM - Did the WWI Tank Prove Itself on the Battlefield of WW2?

Char 2C, also known as FCM 2C, was a French super-heavy tank developed during World War I, but it did not see action during the war. Its history is shrouded in mystery and ambiguity. In 1916, the FCM shipyard, located in southern France, received a contract to design and build a heavy tank, despite having no prior experience in this field. General Mouret, head of the army's motorization department, helped FCM secure the contract in exchange for a bribe, but despite receiving government funds, the shipyard did not take any action.
