Penicillins are one of the oldest antibiotics. These agents were not perfect initially but was able to get the job done. Unfortunately, resistant bacteria became more prevalent and the use of these agents fell out favor. In this video, I will walk you through the penicillin class of medications and discuss the subgroups of medications in this class.
