Catching GALJOEN in torrential RAIN!!

FISHING IN A MASSIVE RAIN STORM.

Hey everyone. Hope everyone is well, so this is my first upload in a very long time, the reason that, my father passed away a few weeks ago and have spending time with family and sorting out all the necessary arrangements.

This video was done about a month ago, myself and Darius headed down to Macassar to see if there were any Galjoen lurking around. The original plan was to go to Arniston for the day, but with the weather that pulled in, that made it impossible to go to Arniston, with seas over 4m and torrential rain predicted for Arniston, the call was made to stay local. I told Darius that it was not going to pleasant, but seeing as though he made the trip from JHB we decided to go.

The rain was absolutely horrid and made filming extremely difficult, i did manage to get a nice Galjoen of 42cm, the pushing tide came in quick and made fishing aas bankies dangerous, so we moved to try find more structure.
