On June 12th, 2022, Discovery Networks Group EMEA anounnced that Minimax will shutdown in
the UK on the midnight of July 1st. All of it's shows will be moving to Cartoonito (UK & Ireland, global feed) and Qlife (UK & Ireland). Here's the final closedown, with Lucas the Spider becoming the last show, followed by the final playing of 6 bumpers since it's rebrand on November 1, 2021, then the organ (played from St. Chad's Cathedral in Birmingham) rendition of the national anthem (God Save The Queen) playing over the Good Night bumper (since it's launch until it went 24/7, where from 2001 to 2006 Minimax UK joins BBC News 24 with BBC One), later followed by the closedown slide.
