Texas Game Wardens

Since 1895, Texas Game Wardens have been protecting the people, wildlife, and natural resources of Texas. As part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, game wardens enforce laws related to hunting, fishing, boating safety, and natural resource conservation across every corner of the state.

In addition to law enforcement, Texas Game Wardens are trained in search and rescue operations, deploying to natural disasters within and across state lines when called
upon. Their work combines conservation, public safety, and community service to protect both Texans and the land they call home.
