This trip had a little bit of everything! 🌵🏹
Day one started with a dry waterhole that I wasn’t sure about… but it turned into some of the best close-up Coues deer footage I’ve ever captured, with multiple bucks coming in. A few days later, I brought two of my boys along — we went dove hunting in the morning and then sat in a blind over water in the evening. We didn’t see much, but we made memories that will last forever.
To wrap it up, I sat another evening on a different waterhole and had an awesome encounter with a family of javelina that came in close, plus some curious cattle.
