Efter att ha synts i Sikta mot stjärnorna och turnerat med coverband ställde Mariette upp i Idol 2009 och slutade på fjärde plats. År 2015 fick hon en plats i Melodifestivalen med ”Don’t Stop Believing”, och därefter har hon ställt upp i Melodifestivalen ytterligare två gånger.
