Outlander is on the Starz network and the hit drama is now in the middle of Season 6. The series is based on the best selling books by Diana Gabaldon, and stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. Jamie and Claire face new challenges and tragic circumstances in the new Season of Outlander. Many book readers are complaining about Claire's use of ether as a way to cope with her past tragedy, because that story line was never in the book. I love both the books and the TV show so I am OK with this change in the story. But if all of the incredibly challenging stuff that has happened to Claire over these six incredible seasons is considered, there is no wonder that she needs a coping mechanism!
