In this AU there are dungeons in the Re Zero world which are full of mabeasts. The dungeons are the same as Solo Leveling, Rank - E, D, C, B, A and S.
One day, frustrated from being powerless, Subaru went to a dungeon in order to prove something. After that the events of the Solo Leveling happen. And also, in this AU "Ashborn" is actually Subaru's ancestor, even unknown to "Satella". The condition to awaken his abilities was to be on the verge of death but not kneel to it. And the rest is same. The witches have only heard about "Monarchs" but have never seen them.
