I spent most of the winter building and developing Ash Wood as a wildlife habitat and one of the main species I hoped to attract here were little owls.
LITTLE OWL FUN
I was delighted when a pair turned up early on to view a bespoke nest box I had made for them and enjoyed some amazing footage of them - including this unfortunate fail!
Sadly, however, the pair eventually nested elsewhere.
