By listening the song, you will instantly notice that there is mixture of words/phrases belonging to the Grenadian Creole English and Creole French or Patois. The parts of the song where the lead singer sings in French creole is most comprehensible to Haitians since Grenadian Patois (Creole French) shares major similarities with the Haitian Creole.
