The bottle with 24 phases of the lunar cycle launched in 1989 for the 90th anniversary of the company is a mix of many malt and grain whiskies. All of the whiskies come from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distillery. Echizen Washi Paper Label crafted by Eriko Horiki and the Calligraphy by Tansetsu Ogino. Best whisky in the world in 2013. It is a combination of American, European, and Japanese oak. Which is ex bourbon, ex sherry, and mizunura all aged separate then blended together.
