Between May and October, the stretch of beach in front of our resort attracts many female Olive Ridley Turtles to lay their eggs there. By moving the nests to our saltwater turtle sanctuary on our property, The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali, protects these eggs from predators, and we care for the hatchlings until they are strong swimmers; at which point we invite you to help us release them into the sea.
While we believe in offering the highest level of luxury, we still maintain a connection to the fundamentals of life. We are proud to be involved in Turtle conservation and hope you too will enjoy a guided tour of the turtle sanctuary during your stay with us.
