Baptism Testimony | Madelyn Hock (Easter 2025)

I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was very young. I was four years old, and I was sitting on my bed with my oldest sister Elyse. My whole life my parents and sisters have followed Jesus, and they have taught me about him. I knew I wanted to follow Jesus the same way they were, so Elyse prayed with me.

When I get baptized, I’m promising that I will be a follower of Jesus forever.

Some of the times I have noticed Jesus in my life are when I’m hurt and he heals me, I’m scared and he shows protection over me, and when I have a bad dream, and he helps me fall back asleep in peace.

I know the Holy Spirit is inside of me because when I do something wrong, I’m sad and I always want to make it right.

My favorite bible verse is “The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands” (John 3:35). It is my favorite Bible verse because it is comforting, and it shows that He is loving.

It makes me very happy that Jesus will always be with me.
