Day-trip to Verbier in le Valais, Switzerland. Monday 8th December, so well before the opening of the 2025/6 season. Plus, we have just had a warm spell here in Switzerland so snow cover is limited (but better than most recent years!). Hence, only a few pistes were open on this day. But, a good day to exercise the ski-legs and take in the views :-)
If you are in Switzerland, check out the rail & ski offers of the Swiss national railway (www.cff.ch) to get a discount on the ski pass and the travel tickets.
