So I figured I'd give these new Angel customs barrels a test and I was not impressed one bit in the FPS test. Usually when u upgrade to a tight bore inner barrel and an improved bucking you can expect a bit of a FPS boost, but in this case there wasn't any. When i received the inner barrel it looked dirty and gritty on the inside like the factory didn't take the time to clean the machining debris left behind. After cleaning the inside polished up well and it didn't seem to be an issue.
The Fps test was a disappointment but after shooting the gun out side the range and groupings did improve. Now this could also be a result of the Reaps bucking which is guaranteed to show results. After this test and seeing the condition of the inner barrel I would have to say I will no longer be purchasing another. I will be sticking to the RA Tech barrels that have not let me down so far.
