「旧大隈重信別邸・旧古河別邸」は、明治30年に大隈重信が別荘として購入し、明治34年に古河家に継承された。建物は木造平屋の寄棟造。テラスに面し解放された大窓には大正硝子が現存している。和洋折衷の庭園がゆがんで見えて、当時の風情を醸し出している。設計者不詳 竣工:1897年以前 所在:神奈川県中郡大磯町西小磯２９５ほか（明治記念大磯庭園内）大磯町指定有形文化財（建造物）

The "Okuma Shigenobu Villa and Furukawa Villa" were purchased by Okuma Shigenobu as a vacation home in 1897 and inherited by the Furukawa family in 1901. The buildings are wooden, single-story, hip-roofed structures. Taisho-era glass still remains in the large windows facing the terrace. The distorted view of the Japanese-Western style garden evokes the charm of the time. Designer: Unknown; Completed: Before 1897; Location: 295 Nishikoiso, Oiso-cho, Naka-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, and elsewhere (within Meiji Memorial Oiso Gardens); Designated Tangible Cultural Property (Building) by Oiso Town.
