📖 HISTORY

We haven't found much information about this derelict mill. All we can tell you about it's past is that it appears to have last been occupied by a furniture manufacturer, Brodock Ltd. and judging by the name it was originally a paper mill. It's been vacant for quite some time but we couldn't tell you just how long. The original Paper Mill was built on this site around 1877 but this unit probably bears little resemblence to it. As you can see, any original features have been beaten out of it so it didn't have much to offer. This derelict mill could be turned into new homes soon.
However this old mill is well-known among paranormal investigators. It's believed to be haunted; some say spirits roam the area, from the spirits of children to a woman said to be the mill's security guard. Another tragic event that marked this old mill was the discovery of a body floating in the river just outside the mill by the homeless who lived there. It has also been burned and vandalized countless times.
This place is incredible, although there isn't much to see. It's worth noting that while we were there, nothing extraordinary happened, nor did we witness any paranormal activity.
Sadly now demolished.
