Without magic tools, how would Din-Dong create a magical merry Christmas?! This debut large-scale solo exhibition of local animation and illustration team Postgal is jointly organised by Sino Group, Olympian City and Sino Art. Themed on the internationally acclaimed creative team's signature animations Ding-Dong and Hidden Elder, the creative duo has tailor-made innovative Christmas decorations for the shopping mall.
Inside Ding-Dong's big belly is a mini cinema. Here audience can enjoy for free Postgal's award winning animation (which won the top prize awarded by Japanese TV station TSB) and the Din-Dong animation series. What's more, Postgal Animation Mini Encyclopedia short films and a drawing exhibition are specially made to share with you Postgal's sources of inspiration and creative process. At the Open Piazza of Olympian City 2, 200 Din-Dongs will be transformed into sunflowers layering on each other to become an adorable 20-metre giant Christmas tree. Surrounding it is a gigantic outdoor pop-up Christmas card gallery, where you can experience being a dwarf for a day. The jumbo colour pencils on the lawn, the Ice Cream Van frozen in action and other 3D Postgal characters are specially created to illustrate basics concepts, including blowing up, shrinking and breaking down of actions, in a humorous way. There will also be a series of fun educational activities to deconstruct animation creation in a nutshell and to promote Din-Dong's green consciousness actualised in his recycling effort. Familiar local landmark icons, from the Star Ferry, the tram to Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, will become Christmas gift boxes that come with a Hong Kong flavour to remind us to cherish the city's treasures. Din-Dong hot items are also waiting for you on shelves inside Din-Dong Tuck Shop. Don't miss the chance to take a photo with Din-Dong at Din-Dong Photo Booth, where funny Xmas e-cards can be made.
冇法寶既癲噹，點創作神奇開心既聖誕?! 今次展覽由信和集團、奧海城、信和藝術攜手呈獻及策劃，是揚威海外的本地動畫及繪本2人創作組合「貓室」首個大型個展。展覽以「貓室」具代表性的動畫《癲噹》和《隱蔽老人》為主題，為商場度身訂造創意無限的聖誕裝飾，讓「貓室」作品中的主角從動畫中跳出來，玩轉商場的不同角落。
巨型的癲噹肚內的迷你戲院，讓大家免費欣賞「貓室」日本得獎動畫及癲噹系列，加上特別為展覽製作的《貓室動畫小百科》短片及動畫展，展示「貓室」的創作靈感及過程。露天廣場中，200隻癲噹分身扮太陽花，再表演疊羅漢，湊成20米高的可愛聖誕樹，加上巨型戶外pop-up 聖誕卡畫廊，讓大家感受被縮小既滋味。急停的雪榚車、大草地上的巨型顏色筆及各個貓室動畫角色的立體造型都別具心思和創意，搞笑之餘亦帶出放大、縮小和定格這些動畫創作的基本技巧。加上一系列好玩的教育活動，簡單解構動畫的創作，亦宣揚癲噹廢物利用的精神。大家熟悉的香港地標icons如天星小輪、電車、鐘樓等，都化身成具本士風味的聖誕禮物盒，叫大家珍惜城市中的寶物。癲噹熱賣精品於特設的「癲噹小賣部」上架，而「癲噹照相館」將你同癲噹的合照製成搞鬼電子聖誕咭。
