John Fogerty, lead singer for the 60's group, Credence Clearwater Revival, has a great legacy. In this video you may learn a few things about him you did not know. His hit, "Fortunate Son" was not only a #1 Hit on the charts but it became the anthem for the Viet Nam War. The song reflects his feelings about the inequality of the Draft. In spite of his feelings, he did answer his call to duty when he received his draft card and enlisted into the US Army Reserves on the same day. He is currently doing his "Legacy Tour" at 80 years of age and still drawing sell out crowds at his concerts. He is a strong supporter of War Veterans and even has a biography that he has written.
