(4 years on) Motorcyle Gloves Review: RST Stunt 3 CE

These glove have been my main riding gloves for approx 4 years and they have worn quite gracefully over that time, but, today, it was time to let them go.

Great gloves for summer use. I have bought lots of gear from SBS recently and I have to say their service is superb, never an issue and excellent return service if required.

Wanted a decent summer glove and like RST stuff. Thought I'd give these a go as for the price seemed too good to be true (under 40 quid). Was surprised they are actually a really nice glove. Supple leather, decent quality and certainly worth the price tag. Wore out on a hot day and not too hot. Haven't worn in the rain and doubt I would (unless caught in a shower) as they don't look very waterproof (not intended to be) but for a nice summer ride are perfect.

Good fit and very comfy. Seem well made but time will tell. I like the look, feel and safety features of these gloves. I was looking for a pair with scaphoid protection and these were by far the best fit and feel. The thumb is a little long but that could just be me.


As soon as they arrived I tried them on and fit just like a glove! Seriously perfect fit, I bought a large as I have slim hands but long fingers, and they are so comfortable and breathable. They feel really well made and solid, but perfectly flexible for good feel and control on the bike.

The fit of gloves isn’t quite as important as the fit of a helmet but it’s just as subjective. When trying any on, check the fingers are the right length – no flapping ends, but that they don’t dig into the webbing between each finger – and also that the palms aren’t loose. It’s vital that once fastened they won’t pull off, but we’ll cover that shortly…

Like the last model, the new Tractech Evo 4s fit my hands perfectly, my usual size L being spot-on.

The only fit difference I’ve noticed between these and the older versions (which are still available in some stores) is a stretch panel on the join between the little finger and third finger, which gives a bit more movement.
