ASMR ⚠️ Toxic Bleach Paste Mix - 2x Lemon SOS Powder bleached my sponges 😱 | Sponge Squeezing (GONE WRONG)
I finally got a chance to make Lemon S.O.S the star of one of my video and this happens 😩😩😩 To be fair I was forewarned about this but didn’t listen to The Traveling ASMR. This is not the first time I’ve used lemon SOS bleach powder. I used one can in this video (ASMR 🎉 1000 Subscribers ✨ 9 New Sponges, 4 Cans of Powder, and Pinalen | Comet, Ajax, Lemon S.O.S    • ASMR 🎉 1000 Subscribers ✨ 9 New Sponges, 4...  ) and no bleaching occurred. It also should be noted I mixed it with Ajax and 2 cans of Comet with liquid pine cleaners. Not sure if that made a difference or if it’s because I just used one can. I’ve used Comet for the longest and this never happened. Never happened with Ajax either and both of those powders have bleach in them.
The smell of Lemon SOS powder is definitely better than Ajax. This lemon powder has a fresh lemon scent as described on the container. Smells better than Lemon Comet too. I find it so intriguing how the product starts off as just plain white powder then when liquid is added the green specks appear and turns the whole thing into a OG Comet type of look. The SOS powder seems finer than Comet and Ajax. I had to cut the can open to pour because the powder was just getting all over the place with light sprinkling. Even when I poured it it still seemed like the fine powder particles were getting everywhere.
I used Fabuloso Orange 🍊with Baking Soda liquid cleaner for the first time in this video. I loved the scent. It reminded me of an orange car freshener, like the oil Aloha Hawaiian car freshener.
The thumbnail was supposed to be the 3 products displayed at the beginning of the video but I had to change it due to the outcome. I start off opening one can of SOS Lemon powder and doing a little powder play before adding the second can. The first sponge I use is the round Dollar Tree bath sponge then gradually add in more sponges (Home Depot grout sponge, Dollar Tree mini car sponge, Lowe’s wheat car sponge, medium grout and baby size grout sponge).
Everything is going well and than 💥 BAM I notice that the sponges are starting to look a little different. They are a burnt orange brown color instead of bright natural sponge color.
⚠️ During the recycle ♻️ and clean-up process, the paste mixture started to burn my eyes. Nothing too crazy but the bleach smell was hella strong. After a few hours I tried to bottle it up but the suds did not die down and it was like a medium thick cream like texture. The smell was just too strong and not in a good way more on the toxic side. So I wind up throwing it away and rinsing the sponges with original pine Pinesol and a pine mix to get the bleachy smell out of them.
So in conclusion, this Lemon SOS bleach powder is good to use in small dosages. If you are using a lot of it, do not use it on new sponges and make sure you are using this bleach powder in a well ventilated area.

⚠️ Edit: Wed, Sept 23, 2020 - Just realized the shirt I was wearing in this video also got bleached from the SOS powder. A little bit got on the black shirt but I didn’t think anything of it and put it in the wash. It’s my play shirt anyway but geez that Lemon SOS Bleach powder is hella strong. No other bleach powder cleaners have stained my clothes in the past.
