I first met Darrell in 2018 at a Certified Sex Addiction Training in Pennsylvania—just after hearing him and Dr. Wilder discuss sex addiction and the Life Model on a podcast. Imagine my surprise when I saw him there! I shared that I was also a Life Model therapist, and we quickly connected.

In this episode, we reflect on our six-year journey and dive into Darrell’s expertise in the Life Model, particularly in helping men overcome sexual compulsion. Darrell is the pastor of New Hope Fellowship and Director of New Hope Recovery Ministries. In full-time ministry since 1989, he has led men’s recovery groups since 2001 and works extensively with couples, helping both men and their often-overlooked wives navigate healing. His ministry is deeply rooted in his own walk with the Father and years of guiding others through recovery.
