First time driving in Japan during the autumn season. Set out to witness the famous 'Momiji' (Autumn red leaves) but was quite disappointed it was so delayed. Apologies for not capturing red leaves in their full beauty.
It was such an experience none the less, thanks to Japan's cleanliness, picturesque sights and her wonder people, we had a great time!

Note for first timers :
Driving in Japan is quite easy, but do be careful when driving at night especially in Nagano. There will be no street lamp and pitch dark. Please go slow. If you like thrill, you will enjoy.
In Autumn, its gets dark by 4.30pm. Its better to start your day earlier.
Allocate one whole day for Kamikochi. And yes, start early.
