Motorcycle Trip To Mongolia, Part 10 Erdene Zuu and no more asphalt.
Was really interesting to see Erdene Zuu. This actually is the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. It was discovered in 15th century.
Was something totally different from the capital Ulan Bator. There are many monks there and you can really feel the spirit of the Buddhism. We slept in cheap hotel near by, it cost us 20$. Of course, nothing special, but we need only the beds. On the next day the asphalt roads are finished and we saw the real Mongolia. Visited one famous rock and went into deep Genghis Khan territories.
