This is my amateur shot video from the RIAT Grandstand at the Fairford airshow in July 1989.
This was an amazing year at this show, and its reflected in this video and the airshow video of the 22nd July which will follow this video.
The theme of this years show was 'Sea Search'
Some highlights here are -
The USAF demo starting at 05:30 min (that B1 fast pass !)
SR-71 flypasts and landing at 21:00 min
Victor low flypast at 28:50 min
So many others to mention, but best to scroll through the video, theres a load of aircraft that you dont see around anymore.
