Inbound from Miami in 1991 me and my then wife and ages ago ex Aleka enjoyed a 6 hour stopover in Amsterdam. Well at least I enjoyed it, Aleka was really overwhelmed by the 15+ hour trip. Temps at Schiphol were a frisky -6 celcius, a bright contrast to the 30s we had enjoyed the past fortnight in Florida and the Bahamas. Still this was not a surprise, we were in Northern Europe after all. But after landing in Athens we found our home snowed out and that was news!
Low res video by today's standards but hey, after all its been shot half a century ago.
