Weston-super-Mare The Grand Pier Vlog - Rides & Attractions & Much More! 15th July 2023

Weston-Super-Nightmare? Not quite but close! Unfortunately we picked a bad weekend to visit, We'd pre booked this so couldn't change it, Already paid for the hotel and wristbands etc, This was meant to be a trip with a few things including Funland at the tropicana BUT it did not open due to heavy winds, Safety is always the most important thing, We did tho go to the Pier for some indoor attractions including The UK's best Ghost train? well could be, it was fantastic. The junior giro swing ride, Go-Karts and Dodgem's, Sadly the Drop Tower was down and the Robo arm hasn't been running for many years and is even taken off the website, The prices were £25 all day and this included the Crazy Golf and 1 round on the Go-Karts...

We also played the Glo Golf at Revo, Had a meal and some beers, Did Ashley Rodgers Waltzer on the seafront and the Big Wheel before going back to the hotel for a couple of pints where the weather really did take a turn for the worst!

We did try and go back to Finland on the Sunday but after an hour of hanging round it was clear that showing the place in it's current state wasn't really worth it, Was very quiet and the wind had stopped some rides operating, just felt I'd be doing it a disservice in it's current sate due to weather so opted to go home and spend the rest of the day with my family. Bit disappointing but we can't control the British weather.

We stayed in the York Hotel, Very clean and tidy and well priced, The Waltzer on the seafront was £4 and the big wheel was £6.50, The Revo Geo Golf was £6pp.
