A real time demonstration of hemstitch on a piece of rigid heddle weaving (approx. 20 cm in width). Hemstitch can be used at the beginning and end of a woven cloth to secure it. Also, when weaving multiple pieces on one warp hemstitch can be used to seperate and hem different pieces as you go. This is a hemstitch for a cotton dishcloth.
