Close racing at Eagles Canyon Raceway - Spec Racer Ford battle!

Here is onboard from Sunday's Spec Racer Ford race from the March 2024 SCCA Majors Tour race weekend at Eagles Canyon Raceway. We had 20 drivers in the SRF3 class. Eagles Canyon is a fantastic facility and a super fun track to drive in any car, but especially the SRF3. The race was 35 minutes or 17 laps. I qualified on pole, but not far ahead from the top 5 drivers. As you will see, I lost the lead at the start and some close racing with Richard, Gary, and Joseph followed! Super fun race.
The Spec Racer Ford is a tube-framed racecar built with SCCA Enterprises. We have a fiberglass body, 1.6L Ford engine, and a SADEV sequential 6-speed transmission. All cars are basically identical with a sealed engine and transmission. They made 135 horsepower and weigh 1,560 lbs with the driver.
