Im Repairing the Poppet Valve on my 2005 225 Mercury Outboard Engine with 1000 Hrs on it .
I was having a mysterious over heating alarm , Long beep sounding randomly only when I Idling through an area . I put new thermostats and new water pump kit in the lower unit and still had the long beep sounding .
Products I used Sta-bil Carb and brake cleaner . Figging oil . you can find at your local parts store .

24-64878 Spring Kit 1
88907003 gaskets 2
I just replaced the gaskets , spring and diaphragm only on my year Engine due to I could not get an assembly for the 2005 .
