High & Low VINTAGE Inspiration | Grand ANTIQUES Fair + FLEA MARKET Finds in Piemonte

When it comes to secondhand style, ideas come from hunting both high and low.
I start with the “high” in Casale Monferrato at a new two-day event called Monferrato Antiquaria — a massive indoor antiques fair spanning nearly 9,000 m². There were so many elegant treasures, including an antique carriage, rustic wood furniture, Bitossi ceramics, and the largest copper pot I’ve ever seen!

After that, I stop by the very affordable Mercato dell’Usato in Alessandria to browse vintage art — a familiar spot where I once found three amazing paintings for the “low” price of just €5 each.
Two very different markets, one region of Italy and endless inspiration for lovers of antiques, art and secondhand style.
