Just a week before the November 5 presidential elections, ballot boxes are being set on fire in the US. Recently, three such incidents have been reported - two in Portland and one in Washington's Vancouver. As per reports, some incendiary devices were used to set the ballot boxes on fire. The damage in Portland was minimal, however, hundreds of ballot boxes were destroyed in Vancouver. Local police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating the case. Ballot boxes are found across the country for both presidential and congressional elections. As the voting for US presidential elections ends on November 5, millions of Americans have already casted their ballot in early voting. As per the national polls, US Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is holding a narrow lead over Former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump. Both the candidates are locked in a tight race and the voters' support could swing either way. How can the burning of ballot boxes affect the US elections?
