Social work and the media: My master's dissertation findings

Social Work (MA) grad Jess talks about her incredible achievement of having her dissertation published.

Her brilliant work investigated how social workers are represented in the media. She found that public perception of the role is limited to what's reported by the news, where negative biases reinforce stereotypes, undermining social workers' ability to build trust with those who are trying to help.
