This tutorial is step by step on taking a button, (I am using a vintage button) and soldering it to make a unique button necklace.

You will learn how to easily solder a jump ring to your button, the importance of using an Emory board and Flux to guarantee solder will attach and flow on the copper taped button.

I will explain how much solder to use when applying it to the button and why too much solder is a disadvantage, plus simple easy steps on attaching the jump rings. In addition, I go over the basics of opening and closing jump rings, so they don't get distorted.

In this video I use a tool called Helping Hand, making soldering jewelry so much easier.

There are basic steps here on how to add beads to wire so you can make dangles for the button pendant and necklace.
